I have an absolutely awesome opportunity for you guys here.

I may be installing my Comand APS soon. An installer from the UK may be dropping by soon to install for me.

It is 995 pounds for the Comand FULLY INSTALLED WITH GPS AND INSTRUMENT CLUSTER PROGRAMMING.

However, it is only single disc changer. If you want the 6 disc changer, you have to top up 600 pounds more.

And if you want Comand to appear as a factory option on your vehicle's datacard (when hooked to the star diagnostic) it will be around 100-200 pounds more.

Hi guys

An installer from the UK may be coming down to install Comand on my W204. However, he can install for any model.

Payment wise its COD.

Will take 1-2hrs per car.

It is 995 pounds per installation complete with SCN Coding

GPS and Linguatronic will be enabled as well.

note: this does not include central air vent and switch for tilting the display.

for 6 CD changer you will have to top up 600 pounds.

the installer can also change your vehicle datacard to reflect that Comand APS came as a factory option on star diagnostic. fully OEM parts.

to put it in perspective, AD sells Comand at 14k with GPS.

This is A STEAL.

bro, pre FL W209 can? mine is 2004 CLK240

Should be brand new. His business is only installation of comand

however, you should note that the motorized button and central air vent cost an extra 180GBP. In our hot climate I think we should have it.

As for the W209, should be no problem

yes no one can. MB has been locking up the SCN coding gradually. W203 no problem but W204 onwards...

bro, can confimred if my W209 can do? mine is pre FL, 2004 CLK240 Japan Spec. i already have an comand in my car, but since its in Jap spec, the gsp, tv, movie all cant be used.

How much would be the actual/specific cost in SG dollars if I want to have the (1) command fully installed with GPS and instrument cluster programming, (2) command to appear as a factory option on the vehicle's datacard, (3) Rear-view Camera (if possible), (4) motorised button & central air-vent and (5) Other miscellaneous spare parts that are required during the course of installation).

Next, when could we make this possible; any estimated timing? Where would we be doing the installation?

Comand APS + Instrument cluster programming + installation + GPS and linguatronic+ single cd changer - 2 083.70488 Singapore dollars

Motorised switch + central air vent - 376.951636 SGD

Comand to appear as factory option - 200SGD or so

Rear View Camera- He can do it. I already asked him. Depends on whether you already have an existing rear view camera. If not he can get you one. If you have one already, he can route it into comand but depending whether you have NTSC or PAL it will be in either colour or b/w

total for the basic motorised switch and comand install should be 2.4k all in.

installation is 1-2hrs per car and can be done over at a carpark.

W212 £1795 for single disc £2100 for 6 disc.

UCI for W204 & W212 is £600 if fitted with Comand. This gives you iPOD, A/V input and USB connectivity.

Old CLK W209 comes with CD Comand £900 fitted but no DVD. Not sure if you can get CD map of SG.
