I did mine outside... cos my car going out of warranty soon... never really check out. I think cheapest method is to go Tye Soon buy the pads and just pay for labour outside. Just my own idea.

I just changed my W203's all brake pads & disc. Cost abt $750 in total. Intend to change my ATF & plugs also. Was quoted about $400 for ATF change & $120 for plug. Are the prices reasonable?

Cheerz!

Haha! No prob! I think mercs wear and tear parts are not that ex as some people percieve. Some parts cheaper than Jap cars. Just dun feel right when those workshop see us drive the pointed star only take knife out and chop us!!! We drive it because we like the quality. We are not ROBERT also! Right?

1) Is there any part number for the brake or just tell "Tye Soon" the car model W204.

2) What is "DB" ? our original W204 brake pads are called 'DB"?

Share some info:

Contacted Eng Soon (another Merc Stockist) after reading some bro wrote here. Brought from them the OEM Knecht engine air filter for $23.54 include GST and install myself. Simple job. Did some check and Understand Knecht brand is from also MAHLE an OEM for Merc. C&C charge around $120 (Lab n Mat) and MBM charge $50 for mat. Lab i guess maybe $20

Must also change SENSORS? Standard procedure?

Are sensors located at all 4 brakes?

According to my mechanic, is good to change all the 4 sensors and believe C&C also recommend the same.

The workshop located at Sing Ming Auto Care #03-18.. Look for Ah Yong. Nice chap and he will answer to all your query...
