Do u always off the air con after shut down?

If so, make it a point to use the recirculation button to turn it on. But if u've read the manual, the recirculation will activate or deactivate automatically under certain conditions.

refer to pg143

my older conti's climate control system's recirculation can stay on all the way.

I believe that is the default setting. You must press the button to activate recirculation every time you start the car. Even then, it is on a 20-30 min timer, which means you must press it again after that, or else it reverts to default outside air mode.

It is a safety feature. I had it on my previous ride also. Not sure about other contis. After a while, you just get used to pressing the button when u start the car.
