Hi hi,

Anyone can help with the contact to get the Eibach spacers? Called some places and they don't carry, only have in-house customised ones.

Thanks v much!

Thanks bro. I managed to get a quote from the local importer. They told me its $213 for 2x5mm spacers. Longer bolts at $6 per piece. Is this reasonable compared to Malaysia?

They don't have stock and indenting will take at least 4 weeks. By that time, my new rims would already be here.

So I'm thinking I'll put on the new rims first and see how it looks and handles. If not ok, then I'll order the spacers.

Btw, I thought prodrives are supposed to be custom made for Subarus, you still need spacer ah...

think its reasonable. as for the bolts, better buy better brand, IMO. coz u wouldnt want to buy those made in XXX then sekali broken then jialat lo. i paid ard S$200++ and bought a brand made in USA.

as for the spacer from Eibach, its reasonable. MY selling ard rm500.

haha, i think u a bit confused here.

My Prodrive fitted on Subaru, royal flushwith fender. no spacer needed.

as for my W209, i using Brabus Monoblock VI +38mm offset and added 6mm spacer on it.

Just got my new rims over the weekend. End up didn't put in spacers and I can't really see much visible difference in offset.

It's a good 4kg lighter per rim and can feel a slight difference in handling (not as bumpy) as well as pick up.

Not bad!:bounce:

I must say they look almost the same as the 18" AMG V rims.

Yeah u're right, the offset didn't really make any difference. Aesthetically that is.

Thanks. It's similar to the AMG rims, but the spokes for the prodrives are thinner. Plus they're forged so they're much lighter than AMG. Only downside is no 3 pointed star hub cab and AMG logo on the rims :becky: Some commented in another forum that the rims look a bit like those on the Audi R8 lol

I think the higher offset caused the steering to stiffen a little. Read somewhere this has something to do with the scrub radius being smaller or something. But I like it cos I found the original steering too light, being used to my previous bmw meaty steering feel.

Now trying to see if there is any difference to the fuel consumption. Initial impression is that there is a slight improvement of a few %.

They're Prodrive Rims, model GC-05K. Got them from Leong Seng @ $750 per piece (17").

I actually kept my old stock rims so I still have the option of swapping out the prodrive hub cap with the merc ones. Tho I must say that the prodrive caps are growing on me so I might not change at all... :becky:
