C&C refuse to do tyre rotation

Hi Bros i am new here. i bought a new c200 last dec and i change my original rims to 18 inch pulaha rims the first week i got my car. yesterday when i sent in my car to C&C for 5000 km tyre rotation, the service engineer said that my rims are not original so they refuse to do tyre rotation. any bros facing similar issue?

i bought the pulaha rims from KBS Motorsport. is that the reason why C&C dun want to do tyre rotation coz i didnt purchase the rims from them?

Is freaking rare, I think. Did u take down their names? If yes, escalates to e next level.

Everything they charge, even for jobs they didn't do during servicing. I've a thread on this, do a search. FOC only when u claim for warranty.

Just curious why must you go to C&C to do your tyre rotation? Can't you just do it at any tyre shops? Easy, fast and cheap at any tyre shops, no need to go back to C&C and wait & wait.

BTW, if your rims are staggered, you can't do tyre rotation. Only rotation possible is rotate between left and right rims, and provided the tyres are not those uni-directional type.

My 18" Pulaha rims are original, stock, from C&C - for my C280.

They are shod with staggered tyres - profile 40 in front and profile 35 behind.

Again, its factory fitted, stock.

The Dunlop tyres used are uni-directional ones.

Thus there is no way that I can rotate my tyres ... even if any workshop (C&C included) had wanted to.

So the question is:

(1) Are you on staggered tyres?

(2) Are your tyres uni-directional type?

If yes for both, then C&C did the right thing in refusing to rotate your tyres ... not because they don't want to, but it just cannot be done!
