Stock Tyres for C180

Hi

Just doing a check on which stock tyres your C Class came with and any feedback on them in terms of ride comfort and noise?

I'm looking for decent performance in terms of handling especially in the wet, without too much compromise in ride comfort and noise. Not sure if I should change my stock ones. The F1 Assym looks interesting.

Thanks all :becky:

Do a search here bro - think there's some issues with the sidewall of the Assym

That reminds me - I haven't fix up an appointment to get mine checked...hahah

My stock tyres 225/45/17 are Bridgestone Potenza RE050

Understand from my SE, the stock tyres for C class are usually one of the 3 below depending on batches that comes in....

1. Continental Sport Contact 3

2. Michelin Primacy HP

3. Bridgestone Potenza RE050

I believe all the 3 above are very good high performance tyres.... comfort wise, maybe CSC3 and Primacy HP is better... My RE050 is not very quiet.

Dry handling and grip i think CSC3 is best

Wet handling and grip i think RE050 is best

Primacy HP is best for braking distance, comfort and longevity.

this is my understanding.
