C280 fuel consumption

Hi guys,

Anyone out there who has a c280? Just wanna check if the fuel consumption is super jialat... Im currently driving a clk200. Getting about 10km/L which is ok. Mine previous ride was getting about 7km/L. So anything in between is fine...

Bro, doubt it'll be lower than 7-8km/L which is damn great liao cos most Audi's/VW 2.0L Turbo struggle to see 8km/L even (Lightly Modded).

Maybe cos i not very heavy footed. Jus normal drive, but quite a lot of highway driving.

10km/L for a 3 litre car is very very good.

My friend who drives ES300 and boast that he can get 8-9km/L ... now i guess MB's 3.0 can match Lexus FC.

For my C230 which is almost 2500cc and can use as indicator to C280, these are the average consumption after 20k of usage:

highway (e.g. NS highway) is slightly above 12 km/l

mix highway/town e.g. most of the time driving here is about 10 km/l

town start/stop is about 8 km/l

Believe C280 is almost the same if going by the factory quoted figures in the manual.
