Screwed up service - star

made a claim for windscreen replacement.

9am - send car to STAR @ Jln Boon Lay: staff told me car will be ready by 1-2pm.

1pm - called to check status: told me collection time delayed to 3pm, because sealant cannot dry due to rain.

3pm - no news.

3.15pm - called to check again: staff said: "sorry, the windscreen cannot fit into your car. agent is closed & we cannot order new windscreen."

(in the 1st place, why commit such a fxxking stupid mistake??)

when asked why they did not detect the mistake earlier?? staff said: "we only start working on your car @ 12pm"

(they asked for car to be sent in early @ 9am, so that they can get it done by 1-2pm. WHAT THE FxxK??)

told staff car is needed to take family out in weekend, staff said: "we will put back the old windscreen for you."

(again.. WHAT THE FxxK??)

staff said no replacement car for windscreen claims... (as if i wanna drive a freaking replacement car in the 1st place)

3.30pm - some workshop in-charge or whoever the fxxk is said he will 'try' to get a rented car for replacement... now has been waiting for 20mins & still no news...

(as if its so hard to rent a car... he don't freaking know i was in car rental before...)

FxxK UP workshops really spoil the day...

Heard so 'much press' about Star & Thank God for you bro (No Punt Intended, only heartfelt gratitude), now i've added vested interest never ever to step near there nor think of them even if choices are far & few in-between.

STA sucks, their accident repair workmanship is damm bad and they inflate the costs.

Remember few years back, one guy's engine dropped out after he drove the car out of STAR!

I went for their car grooming long ago and I have decided not to return. It's not so much about the end result, it's the process that I don't like. When I went back to collect car after the whole day, one guy was still polishing while another sat in my car talking cock to the other.

Wa, best post i've read by far but then again was speed reading & imagination was kinda off hence was doing a double take on the above in BOLD ROFL!!!!

If it's me, i'll freak out (that is if they were doing what i initially thought so) & check my interior properly then have whole interior STEAM Clean with Dettol :becky:
