Message for our Uncker...

Uncker I am going to purchase the FISCON BT PRO for Merc available in Feb 2010 next week..... it would cost me about 336 EURO ....how much $$and where you get to install yours in yr. previous or should I say current AUDI...car still with u right?

I suggest U join the VAGSG monthly GB for Kufatec Product

(They sell Fiscon) by a guy name Dr. Hanson.

He will direct U to instal @ Nam Huat & he will likely be able to do

coding or arrange coding to be done for U.

Why not U write to him what U want and see if he can support U!

1 of my Q5 kaki bought from him & he did the coding for him too FOC.

Buying from Fiscon directly is the cheapest option but U have to find

a workshop with STAR Diagnostic to do your coding.

Installation can be done by any experienced ICE installer.

Installation should be abt S$50 - coding I dunno know!

Best check with this guy Dr. Hanson - I think he charges abt $700

for the Fiscon Pro + coding + $50 for installation.

What I got for my Audi was phone book, missed calls, calls made, calls received show on my LCD screen & on the OBC(DIS) screen on the meters.

Dial by numbers or alphabet! Some phones support sms too.

All with full steering control. smlc also like the original 1 & better cos

got smlc A2DP audi streaming by BT from the my iPhone songs playing

by BT thru the car audio system.

wanna kalaoke must get the Tiong Kok Bu or Siam Bu lah!

Unkcer , I saw on FAQ and menu..as long as a press the phone button on the MERC and it shows "no phone" or function not available ..then it is ready just plug and play.... unless you car not showing this then u need coding.Thanks..so Nam Huat u=is the shop har...would let you know when I purchase it then we go together..... thought you kena suck into dark side so long then reply..... thanks thanks

Very easy to be sucked into the dark side nowadays esp. so many things so easy to mod but with too little manee....muahahaha!

Did that for my Audi Q5 and it works better than the oem functions with BT audio streaming.

Should work for Merc.

Go & ask the Fiscon people on their site.

They can communicate in English.

They are very nice people & helpful.

IIRC buying direct from them is only Euro 15.00 but U might need coding.

IMHO go to my link and get this guy from the VAGSG forum (Audi & VW Group S'pore) Dr. Hanson to buy for U.

He organize mthly GB from Kufatec which sells also Fiscon.

Dr. Hanson has did free coding for those who have bought the Fiscon from him.

1. Go check the Fiscon site if your ride is possible with the Fsiscon BT

2. Not sure check with the Fiscon people

3. Sure - Get Dr. Hanson to buy from U and get Nam Huat to do the instal.

4. Need coding, get Dr. Hanson to help U or maybe workshop like MBM with the Diagnostic prog to do the coding if required.

I had place a order thru this Dr Hanson, but he was telling me that supplier side do not have my model in stock now, so have to wait....but 1 month pass......

While waiting, i got myself this Parrot 3100 for the time being.....

Dont dare to take risk and my that stupid 'basic' phone handfree cost me $198 so die die have to install a BT in my car.

It has it own screen but 1 bad point is,i set my phone to auto key pad lock, whenever lock or unlock, the radio will mute for 2 sec, not like the original factory i have on my W204 which will not be affected.

The Fiscon was great on my previous Q5.

It fully integrate withe the car system and work exactly like the stock BT and even better with BT audio streaming which the original stock BT can't.
