Car DVR

Pardon me (if not appropriate) to ask whether is any member here installed their ride with a car DVR?

Why I ask? 'Cos I was knocked by a WRX in my previous ride and in his statement he'd claimed that I have cut into his lane resulting him to lost control. Hence, with a DVR, I would have save my breath explaining to all the concern authorities and save my NCD from such irresponsible driver.

Also, my current ride was installed with Audio20 thus anyone capitalised on the LCD monitor to add on a (1) Reverse Camera, (2) DVD Player or (3) GPS?

Looking forward to join the meet-up to learn more about the ride.

Thank you.

Cheers! :)

Just something for you to take note with regards to DVR footage - it may or may not be used if the case escalates to court.

DVR owners often encourage making a guest appearance in your footage of the accident as a form of endorsement that the footage was really taken from your vehicle.

As far as I know, if it's side collision/impact and the case happens to drag be dragged to court, pre-court advisors will normally tell you not to waste the courts time and split 50-50.

When comes to any accident, is yr word against the driver, no point arguing. If umable to private settlement then let the insurance company to deal with the problem, as long as no one is injured.

As for installation of reverse camera, dvd player & gps, call this nos 67360303. Is possible for bmw not too sure for mercs. Do a search in the forum, this topics has been discuss many times. Let us know the outcome if you had get it installed ya.

Thanks fellow members for the prompt advice!

Will drop the idea since majority or no one installed it on their ride (especially W204).

Will wish to view fellow member's ride (if any with the aforesaid installation) before the committment. Was advised by C&C to avoid it during the warranty period.

Once again, thanks for the advice!

Cheers! :)
