What Was Your First Car ?

Apologies, had to delete the initial thread of the same title in another board as it was initiated by a spambot. Am restarting the thread here as it is a pretty decent conversation starter.

Anyway since we're restarting, my first car was a 1967 VW Beetle with an aftermarket convertible roof. Learnt alot of lessons with this car - enough not to buy potential lemons!

hahaha! For the record U beat me to having the oldest ride with that 1967 VW Beetle. My oldest was the 1970 Capri.

Never own a Honda, never get to buy the S13 and nearly bought a 92 Eunos.

Bought my 1st brand new ride 1990 Madza Astina & got lucky to visit the

Madza City Yokohama Plant just before I collected my Astina.

If my memory did not fail me, I paid the 1st time implemented COE in Mar 1990 for a flat COE fee of $3000 before they started the 1st bidding exercise in May 1990.....history....hahaha! :Cry:

The G100 Charade (your model) was super popular back in the day. Turbocharged ones were very popular I believe. The G200 (post 94 chassis) DeTomaso version looks every bit a Japanese hot hatch.

The 1980s G11 926R rally version looks like the Renault 5 Turbo
