Hey Tommy

your headlights, have you upgrade your wirings to a thicker core? know you got the "eagle eye"'s angel eye projector headlights and just changed to HID. i would suggest to upgrade the projector's wiring to thicker core to play safe!

cheers

Oh, i am still using normal H7 hologen bulb with projector lamp. Still need to change? I did not fix the HID becoz my fren told me it may not be safe to install( China made HID) onto my lamp. So, now still contemplating whether to get the philips brand HID instead. Is over-heating the concern? Pls advice.

$80 is the "special" price for Tommy...thats why i dare not ask for too much...ya..finding where to install the DRL is really a challenge for W204 with Avant Garde...

if you wana go HID, regardless of brands, you must upgrade the wirings of the projectors! OR else within 3 months of usage, if lucky, only bulb gone....

those wires are so thin, HIDs requires high current, so those wires can't TA HAN the heat!!!

Thks for the advice bro!

I stick to the same body color - obsidian black...see pics of my humble ride with color coordinated front grille...

As for DRL...where do you think we can we install them?

Swee Swee!

My ideas for the DRL is to fix it vertically slant next to your fog light.

Hi Tommy, HID will not take up more power, halogen are running at 55watts, HID only running on 35watts.

Hi all, went to Autobacs (eunos) today. They carry quite a few brands of DRLs, ranging from $38 - $116. Some of the DRL are pretty long, i saw one that is up to 26cm. Anyone interested can go and get. But dont know bout the price range though, wonder why the huge gap, Japanese brand being the most ex one.

Will fixing DRL cause any complications to the electrical components of the car, since it is taking on more power other then your headlamps and fog lights and so on? Thanks. :bounce:
