Tuned...

Bros, I just got my W203 C180 and my dad's w211 E200 tuned by Dave of OBD-tuning Singapore two days ago.

I must say it was $$ well spent!

Felt instant improvement even in my MSCP. The moment I drove off after the tune, realised I did not have to step as much as i did before to get the car moving.

Today, dragged with my fren driving a modded Integra(auto). When I was driving my previous Forester Turbo, smoked him big time:)

After I changed to C180, I kena smoked by him:(

Today, all he could was trail me from about half car length +/- behind. He was shocked(hee hee).

For my dad's car, as he's on Carlsson quads and fitted with sprint booster, the effect was even greater. My dad's comment on the tune. SCARY. Ha ha.. but he's enjoying every minute of it :)

Disclaimer: Im only sharing my personal experience on Dave's tuning services. I have nothing to do with him or his company whatsoever. I just wanna share what I experienced thru getting my car tuned. Its basically a reflash of the stock ECU. Not piggyback etc so no risk. And he's not a freelancer either. He has a fully fledged fully equipped tuning centre(so anything can go down bang table! heh) but im sure that wont happen.

He's website is http://www.obd-tuning.com.sg/ do check it out. You will be impressed..

My C180 was converted into a C200 instantly. For C200, its your guess...

Cheers and Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Jerome

Urm openly admitting you're breaking the law by speeding and doing really reckless things and taking risks with OTHER people's lives is not something you wanna shout or boast about. You might wanna use a track if you're gonna be hitting speeds above the legal limit that way your not endangering other motorists lives.

Today, from 80kph rolling start(haven try from stand still yet), all he could was trail me from about half car length +/- behind till ~ 180kph where the traffic got heavy and we had to stop the chase. He was shocked(hee hee).

Bros, I apologise if my post appears to be big headed. Its not meant to be. And Im definitely NOT saying that my car is damn fast etc...

I just got excited and dying to share this with everyone here.

To bro Blackmercs: Yes he is the one who will come down to you to get it done. Excellent service.

Thank you

Cheers!

Hi Trex81 bro its nice to have a tuned and modded car and all that, I think we all appreciate it. I think i've just been seeing too many speeding accidents involving innocent people who end up getting hurt over no good reasons other then some guy wanted to see how fast his/her's car can go whilst in traffic. Mod is def the way to go just stay safe and be considerate about other road users as well. Merry Christmas to one and all, and to all a safe new year !

Trex81.. dont get me wrong, i want to see whether the mod worth it or not, because another brother did it to his SLK, but the result isn't too convincing when pit against other SLK... so if you are interested to find out.. let me know..

@cerano, want to try with stock c200? PM me.. hehe

Bro, sure, I may have wrongly conceived my thoughts too... Cause never tried C200 before. Shall we arrange offline and off public roads?

Just read thru the webby page seems that there is a tune 3 cars and the 4th gets a free tune. Hmm interesting, everyone can save 15% if they split the bill evenly

but from my understanding, our cars have very limited tuning potential from OBD tuning... very few parameters can be adjusted even with the stock siemens ECU. what you need is a piggyback like the k-box or unichip. if any bro is interested i can intro you a dyno/road-tuned unichip lobang. piggyback ecu $900 tuned and all. definately more gains 10-15bhp from tuning at least

Sounds like a Unichip Q from propel and road tune.... sniff sniff i smell a fellow ex-bmw there

yes unichip q is good from what i have heard. tuning is not by propel but an independent called andrew.
