Hi all ran across this while searching for HiDs

http://singapore.gumtree.sg/c-Cars-Vehicles-Motorbikes-Parts-parts-accessories-PHILIPS-HID-Vehicles-head-lamp-Conversion-Kits-W0QQAdIdZ137453018

Priced at $295 per set. I'm going down to take a look tmr morning. This is prob good for those who are aiming to change just Lo/Hi/Foggies to HiDs otherwise from the rest of the bros here amy is suppose to be just as good at $100.

If nothing else its just branding of philips vs some china made brand lol.

Erm thats for 1 set bro lol so if you're installing 3 set i think its 295x3=$885 if you dont mind that yea i can prob meet u there but hes actually at 48 toh guan rd east s(608586) 96392988 (Steven) not bukit merah. Yes price is inclusive of installation according to him.

Bro blackmerc I just called autospritze for the park light he quoted me $80 (its 4 pieces of LEDs white colour), including installation at 115 Eunos Ave 3 (Look for ah boon) 62899876.

LoL soo many mods soo little $$. I just swapped my side indicator bulbs out to the Philips Silvervision bulbs to lessen the orangy colouring in the headlight assembly looks cleaner now.

LoL 1st pic is the OEM bulbs, 2nd pic is the package after i've removed the new bulbs, 3rd shot is before notice the orangy reflection in the headlight, and last is the after shot less orange effect.

I took the 6000k ones contact steven at 96392988 tell him Calvin sent you to him for a good deal on installation and LEDs as he's got the error free ones. Ok 1st pic is left side HiD done 2nd pic is a closeup shot 3rd pics is OEM setup next is the park LEDs for some reason they look kinda blueish once installed.

Bro Lightning, $295 for Philips incl installation can't be wrong. It's definitely worth it if you're just going to install one set for peace of mind. Also you can tell ppl loud loud that yours is Philips not cheapo one hor, ha ha ha!

Many bros here fixed aftermarket HIDs (Philips or cheapo) without the need for error cancellor or what diagnostic prog blah blah blah, including yours truly. But if my memory didn't fail me (which happens quite often nowadays), there was 1 and only 1 unsuccessful installation that requires the error cancellor for the W204. Hope you won't be the 2nd one to add to this list! Ha ha ha!

4300k: Yellowish, just like your stock halogen, so why change???

6000k: So called Pure White. Many ppl like this

8000k: Slightlhy Blue-ish. Some say beng, some say cool. Me lao uncle like this!

My 2 cts again. Happy bulbs changing!

I've looked thru the seller's weblinks that you've posted (the gumtree ones). The LEDs he's selling for the eyelids looks exactly like what we have bought previously. These bulbs burn out after a few months, happened to many of us. I think not worth trying. Autospritz should be a better bet.

Hmm I got the error canceler aka decoder together with the set for peace of mind. Was kinda fussy with the install as I didn't want to see the ballast or wires running all over the place. Luckily steven stayed throughout the install and ensured that I was happy with everything. Next up for me are philips foggies anyone got a good deal for them ? Below are 2 more pics of the final product hope you all enjoyed the pics !

I installed Philips HIDs on my W204 about a year ago, no error cancellor, so far no problems at all.

Lightning fixed his philips foggies at Darren yesterday, price is not bad.

hahaha. pai seh leh. bumper went for facial, so gotta give up on the gathering.....

actually... the more K, the lower the projection.... IMO, 6000K is the best liao in terms of chio-ness and projection. i am tempted to get the philips 6000K kit. but wanna see how it goes first.

Yesterday evening followed my friend to changes tyre at TS auto at Sembawang then look around saw this Burite HID conversion with ballast ....then the mechanic there promote to me made in germany 8000K H7 suitable for Merc...and only $260...ask got problem at not when installed with other Merc..they say no and then somemore made in Germany leh so must be suitable for German's car...got it install at $260 with labour included...after installing it was OK, then leave the place less than 1 min ..the lights keep flashing and comes on and off and there was an error msg at the dash "DIP LEFT BEAM " ..what is happening ...is it the error can thing...KNN ask them they say no problem now later got to go there and maybe remove.....Thought was good deal..any Bros any comments on this and how to solve this
