Any car workshop can do it for you as only basic tools are required to have it installed. Cost me $30 at New Fong Kim at ubi area. Whilst not a hard thing to install it was quite time consuming, have the mechanics/installers 1st REMOVE the orignal pedal rubber then install the new pedals. Excellent stuff there !

not sure if this was discussed before, but another alternative albeit for just under SGD100 more, why not consider the original AMG pedals?

installation is somewhat a breeze ~ diy.

and these pedals come with the rubbers that are just like the ones on yr pedals now... u pry the original ones one out.. and u put these back in... no drilling or screws...but these dun come with the dead pedal (footrest).

The foot brake & brake is a breeze. Accelerator is not that straight forward. Care to share e tips on DIY?

Wow very nice I suppose but lacking the AMG words on the pedals and the dead pedal for an additional $100, dont make much sense lol paying more for less. Anyways to each his own i suppose so as long as you enjoy it thats the main point ! Grats on getting an orignal AMG pedal set !

Just got my set from CarGym installed on my W203... Nice quality stuff and fast shipping.:becky:

I DIYed.... posting some pictures here to those considering if DIY is worth your while.....

Cost of pedals ~$100

Cost of installation ~ aching knees and elbows from kneeling on the floor and bending into the footwell

Satisfaction of a self completed job ~ priceless!

The Aluminnium pedal set..very well constructed

P1030952.jpg

Stock plain jane W203 footwell

P1030987.jpg

All rubber coverings removed except for the accelerator pedal rubber cover.

P1030989.jpg

The removal of the rubber cover for the accelerator pedal is a little tricky. You need to remove the plastic peg by pinching the end circled in red and pushing it through to unhinge the pedal. Once unhinged, the rubber cover can be pulled off along the direction of the green arrow. Having the pedal unhinged makes the access easier as well but do remember to put back the plastic peg!

Now mark and drill the required holes in the accelerator and brake pedal. The drilling of the brake pedal is a pain because of the heavy duty steel used (I wouldn't expect MB to use any softer material for safety reasons). I used my trusty portable Dremel tool with drill bits meant for drilling metal...slow and steady progress.

P1030990_01.jpg

For the parking brake pedal, do the same.....this is as tough as the brake pedal but luckily only 2 holes required!

P1030993_01.jpg

For the foot rest pedal, just need to position and use a philip screwdriver to drive the 4 self-tapping screws into the relatively soft OEM carpet.

The final product. Pardon my 3M floor mat..will trim the foot rest area to shape once I have time to get down to it.

Well Done!

Good DIY Job! clapb.gif

Should have consider Originals - no drilling for 10 holes but double that price and no DIY fun! :becky:

hehe...considered the originals but chose this set instead for the extra foot rest piece...:becky:

Good job, ever thought using double side tape instead? :)

not really......I am concerned about the safety aspect as well....

Imagine one of the metal pedal piece dislodges and get stuck under the brake pedal:scared:

Furthermore...I think the bolt heads adds to the look:thumb:

For those who do not want to drill holes and wanna the original pedals you can either get them from C & C(deduct from your service credits), Benzline or

over the net.

IMHO,

The originals though without the dead rest pedal are "Rock solid" in terms of Quality & built.

They do not have dead rest pedal for Right Hand Drive due to low demands.

The gas pedal is a direct replacement over the old one and not just a cover.

It's plug & play without any hole drilling!

This set comes standard for ride with the AMG Sport Package.

They are $200+/set not cheap but you are paying not just for covers but a new gas pedal and the "MB Quality"

Here's one on eBay:-

Also, E & C class except for the CLC model is the same pedal set. Original set installation is a breeze except for the brake set, I think u needs KY for this job!! :)

I have finally DIY my AMG pedals (from cargym).

You need to drill 9 holes altogether. The foot rest pedal is the easily...just screwed in. The most challenging is the the foot brake pedal...

It took me about an hour...

Enjoying my ride now...
