Hi Bros,

Planning to change my low beam H7, 55W but cant decided Cystal Vision 4300k (White)or Diamond Vision 5000k (a little blue). Have seen the 5000k, like it but dont want to get into trouble with LTA.

Any comments pls?

Last week change my fog H11 to CV 4300K not bad ($97.5 + 4 lab at autobac), should hv change to 5000K (prefer more white) as understand LTA dont quite check fog light?

Is best to match yr low beam with yr foglight, then again u cant switch on the foglight when u on the move.

"Cant switch on when on the move"? sorry dont understand?

At time or most of the time in the early morning when i go to work, i switch on Eyelid and Fog, as dont want to irritate the car in front due to glare....

Cant stand those with BIG Bright super white HID...find them irritating....

Taken from LTA:

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) allows the installation of fog lamps on vehicles as long as the fog lamps comply with the requisite safety standards. Such lamps can only be used in adverse weather conditions where there is reduced visibility, such as during heavy downpours or in hazy conditions.

i read from somewhere that the most effective fog lights...i.e. can cut thru heavy fog or rain are the stock ones (yellow/orange)...sorry... the white ones may look nice but not effective during adverse weather...especially if those bros/sis who drive up-north often...

Ok Guys, thnks for the all the info.

Will install CV 4300K to match.

Cheers!!!!

All Philips Halogen bulbs are LTA approved.

Philips has no Diamond Vision 5000k bulbs for H11 except Crystal Vision 4300k.

IMHO,

Most of the bros here as switched to HIDs for their main beams and foggies.

Those on 6000k are the best color and definitely much brighter than Halogen bulbs in terms of lumens be it Crystal Vision 4300k or Diamond Vision 5000k.

My previous FL W211 runs on

1. OEM Bi-Xenon with Philips D1S 6000K bulbs

2. Philips H7 HIDs 6000K for High Beam

3. "Cheapo" H11 HIDs 8000K for foggies (mainly for looks)
