I'm going to change my c-200 avantgarde to either 1) c-180 blue efficiency amg sport with panoramic roof, audio 50 with 6 DVD changer, dynamic handling, bi-xenon headlamp, keyless go......, or 2) c-200 just with amg package and panoramic roof. Both are almost the same price. Any comments?

I've been driving w204 c200 for the past 17 months. Thinking of changing to amg bodykit, amg brake, sport coilover.......etc, cost about 10 over thousand. After 1 week of struggling, since i want to spend $ on the parts, it is better for me to change to a new w204 with all the spec. Is there a great different btw c180k blue efficiency and c200k 156 and 184 horse power?

why not feel it for yourself at C&C? am sure you feel the difference however if you are not an impatient driver.. then it may not matter to you.. go for the added specs then!

cheers

Thanks for your comments.

I have a 1 yr old C180 non-BE. Recently, C&C loan me a C180BE for 3 days. The difference in power is DRASTIC! So if you're driving a C200 now, I don't think you can accept the C180BE. My wife is a pretty slow driver, and even she can feel the big difference between the loan car and our humble ride.

My 2 cts.

Wow! so much different! I think i've to reconsider. I was told that c180k and c180k BE are almost the same.

I also just tested c180 BE, to be honest, there is really a great different in the power. Luckily seek advices from here, if not have to regret for at least the next 18 months. All the PI c200 amg package with panoramic roof don't come with memory seats, have to special order......don't know have to wait for how long???????

Get C230 ba... :P

i thought no more c230. now the latest i think is c250 gdi blue efficiency (1.8 engine) but not here yet. singapore road 184 horse power is more than enough, too many traffic lights, too many road hoggers, too many mobile speed camera.......

Yup - thought that the "downgrade" from my previous 253bhp (350NM) turbo ride would be harsh but my current C200 is quite nice to drive and definitely well suited for the roads here...

I didn't ask. I bought my c200 together with one of my friend last year June. Mine from pi (138K) omv 36k and his from c&c (156K) omv 42k. Now both of us going to change new car and my car can be sold at 110k and his abt 118k. If both of us taking 70% loan at that time and having the same interest rate 2.5%, I believed that I'm on the winning side.

May not be true - your friend may have also gotten overtrade and also "discounts" from C&C...

Some of us didn't pay the S$156k sticker price :)
