W203 Bluetooth Function

Just collected my W203, and was told that the bluetooth function does not work with our handphones in S'pore because of some frequency issues.

Anyone can verify this? If that's really the case, what are the available solutions for us to connect our HPs to the car bluetooth function such that we can make handsfree calls through the car speakers?

There is no bluetooth built into W203, if I am not wrong. At least mine doesn't have one.

i don't think W203 have a bluetooth module built-in although there are key pads on the audio. MIne is a 2005 model.

If your W203 and has the audio 20 Version 1, then maybe this Fiscon retrofit will work for U.

My Audi Q5 bought from PI doesn't came with BT and I purchased something similar to this and it works seemlessly on my ride. i.e Screen Display, Dash Display & Full Steering Controls including reading phone book & sms.
