MWTS: ultimate lighting upgrade for w124

Hey guys,

I was thinking of a new project so I might consider letting my custom project go.

As most of you are aware, the headlights for the w124 are very dim at night. I've tried so called whiter bulbs as well but they all suck. My dad drives the car and he has night blindness so I decided to help him out by getting much brighter lights. I've always liked hid lights but I know that putting any hid kit in halogen lights is a big no no! Tons of glare and very little usable light. So i embarked on my project to get projector headlights with clear lenses then swapping the lousy halogen projectors for proper hid projectors from a vehicle equipped with them. I managed to source out audi rs4 projectors from the US and managed to do a retrofit at a trusted workshop here. And this is the result.

Driving at night is so much better now for my dad as sometimes he does drive up north. These projectors are brighter than some cars out there with stock hid projectors like the bmws (coz their projectors are not as good) with a nice wide beam. This puts other stock cars with reflector hids to shame. And best of all, it's LEGAL! My dad went for his inspection earlier this year and it passed!! These lights have been used for about 1 year. It is as if the w124 came standard with hid as the bulbs used are D2S which are standard on most cars, if not D1S. I have philips 85122+ bulbs in case you are wondering. The ballast has been mounted at the bottom of the headlight in a professional manner. There has never been an issue with leakage. No fogging up of headlights even in very heavy rain.

Just make me an offer if you are interested. It's like getting a factory hid system for that project car of yours. I can do meetups only for very interested parties.

Here is a breakdown for the entire project so you can make an offer based on the cost:

1) Projector headlights $600 from Benzline

2) Audi RS4 projectors $225

3) Ballast and bulb $250

4) Labour $300

Total about $1375. So pls no lowballers. I've put in a lot of time and money getting this project put together so I will only consider selling if the offer is decent. I hope you understand. I'll only be able to remove these lights in about 3 weeks time.

If interested, you can contact Andrew via hp at 97911624 or through pm here.

Thanks for looking!

BTW, Keltanky, I'll give you 1st priority if you are keen as you've asked me about these lights before. :)
