Busy with school.... no more time to wash car... finally gave in to the idea and sent for carwash... and was far from happy...

Shit List

Location: Esso Serangoon Garden

Price: $7

Problem: Whole big patch on side skirts, mirrors left unwashed. Cost more than most carwashes, and the attendants are simply bochup. Was there at 2am so definitely not peak hour rush. :censored:

Location: Esso Dunman Road

Price: $7-8

Problem: china workers wash already cleaning not done well. side mirrors soap still on. the part where the boot lid closes onto the bumper, still dirty with black black marks all over. drying not done at all, the cloth that is used to clean the car prolly has enough water to start a monsoon. time of cleaning - morning 9am on weekend and afternoon 2pm on weekday.

oh yes, i agree w u.

those people they hire is obviously underpaid and they simply go thru the motion while washing your car.

either never dry properly or they miss out huge spots.

i've been to the petrol kiosk along cck, cant recall the brand, but it had a huge ntuc express and dbs atm inside.

ask the fella drying my car to dry my rims....guess what....he is a china guy, mumbled something under his breath which i cant make out and proceeded to dry my rims w the same clothe he dried the car!

after that, another car came for drying and he just wringed the water out of the same clothe and used it to dry the next car!! wah lao eh!!! that will be the last time i wash my car there!!!

Try going to the car wash at the SPC near Serene centre? The one right in front of the NUS law campus. I bring my family cars there all the time and I see lots of other exotic owners bring their cars there as well. They'll clean your car well, but you get what you pay for. 10 bucks for a carwash isn't going to see your car polished, the dirt will be removed, but oil stains and stuff, you'll need to pay more if you want them to get rid of them for you. I think their service is pretty good and they certainly seem to provide a service of equal value to the money I pay them.

i pay $2 for my carwash just 5mins drive from my sembawang place. it certainly is bang for my buck. d67e1aa6.gif

Liquid Wax would be easier but since i have paste wax, i might as well finish it before buying new one.

This is the cheapest DA (dual action) you can find.

Those black & decker, etc you see, those only tickle your car, they are not DA and cant do anything.

Secondly, this is local votage. no need step down convertor.

I can explain more to you at this sunday's meetup!
