Collecting New C200 - Things To Look Out For?

Hi guys

Going to collect my C200 next week (Thursday hopefully)...

What are the specific things I should look out for?

My SE only threw in the Huper film plus a reverse cam...everything else is "standard"

But I understand that C&C standard and what's standard in the brochure is different right?

That the tires comes with it ????? :whip2: I'm sorry ... just kiddin'

I guess the SE will go through with you the car itself and explain how certain things work ? For the window film, I gues there shd be a receipt or cert showing that what has been done ?

Enjoy the occasion ... and the ride as well !

Look out for things that are not covered by warranty. Paint work. Leather. Rims.

Ok thanks

I heard that we may also need to check for water mark stains on the windscreen - which could only be seen when the glass is wet

Need to raise the bonnet to check under the hood? heheh

Anyway, wonder if this is available for the C-Class...the "laundry bag" attachment in the boot of the new E-Class which I thought was quite neat :punk1:

Collected my car yesterday - there were a lot of other deliveries and it was like a factory line at C&C :tazzie:

The collection went quite smoothly and after 1/2 an hour (probably less), we headed over to KBS to change our rims and tyres...

Then at KBS, under the bright lights of its workshop, we noticed that there was a damn chip in the paint just above the left brake light...

Sian half - now got to make appointment next week to send the car in for a respray :2guns: :2guns:

If its just a small chip, just live with it, a resprayed surface will never be as good as factory paint.

yup, if it is not noticeable .. ignore it ...

to respray that small chip, they will need to sand around the area and then spray it ...

as the others suggest, leave it for the time being ad enjoy the ride ...
