Questions about W203

Hi everyone, I will be collecting my W203 sometime this week, its a 2005 C180. Can I ask all you gurus here if the 2005 W203 Elegance has any sunglass holder? Cause I found a piece of chrome plated plastic in the glove compartment which looks like a sunglass holder or something.. I asked the used car dealer he also dunno what it was so I told him to go get it fixed before he hand over the car to me.

Hope someone can shed some light on this.

no sun glass holder by far. chrome plated plastic thingy izzit just a small rectangular piece? if so, i use it as a card holder. it should close into the side of the glove compartment that opens downwards.

Anyway, is it supposed to be on the upper deck (next to CD changer) or lower deck?

Its folding to the side? Its mounted on the left I presume?

This is my first Merc after a line of Japs... Hope I get to enjoy the ownership of revered MB cars!!

Mine has a compartment to store a pair of sunglasses inside the glove compartment, or maybe it's for card holder?But I put my sunglasses inside there. Once you open up, it is directly facing the opposite side of the CD changer. Think the plastic cover might have dropped out for your case.

Btw, I am driving a W203 C200, so dunno if it's different from the C180.

i recall my dad was able to stuff a set of keys inside, i dunno if sun glasses can fit. let me check and get back.

I used to put a pair of sunglasses there too. W203. Its chrome all right. But not sure if your sunglass is too big still can fit a not.

yes brudder...its for sunglass storage.

i put mine in it.....but if ur sunglass is ultra big then cannot fit in la...if not it should fit most sizes.

congrats on ur w203! i'm driving a c200 w203...so now i have people to sell my mods to when i change car.

Not those big ones, slim type of sunglasses shouldn't pose any issue.

Went down to the dealer earlier to hand over my IC for transfer of ownership. Hopefully by tomorrow evening or friday morning can collect my ride!!

Oh and I fixed back the chrome piece into the glove compartment door liao.. Alls well and good..

Most of the places selling this brand damage per pce around $35 bucks and above, you shld get it during the Import Nights having special discount. If not you got to wait for the next event "Export Nights".
