Anyone can comfirm that mama lemon will be useful? Sigh.. prob really irritating.

I cant remember the product or fruits that use for cleaning the windscreen will crack yr windscreen after applying and left it dry under the hot sun. Is it lemon?

If worst to worst, change the wiper to Bosch brand confirm will solve yr problem. My previous ride, the wiper can do Saturday nite fever. After switching to this Bosch brand, the problem resolves. I will definely change to this Bosch wiper.

Yahh.... applying Rain-X is worse!! >:( Now I'm wondering how to remove the Rain-X!! :surrender:

I guess just go back to simple window cleaner and newspaper is ok?

Yes, rub it hard with the newspaper and dont spray the stock wiper liquid for good, if possible, drain it out and replace with other brand. I did warned you guys, using the Rain thingy is going to be worst!!! I apply this product for all the windows and mirror except WINDSCREEN.

 Man of experience! Rainy things are good for side mirrors & windows only.....hehehehe!

Rainy thing leaves behind a coat to repel water during raining but that coating will make your wiper judders.

Beside what Hitam Merc said about draining & replacing your windscreen wash fluid, get a good glass polisher like Autoglym to get rid of that coat.

After that use a normal windscreen alcohol based liquid cleaner to clean your windscreen.

Usually after a grooming session, my wipers will judder a little but after wiping the windscreen with a normal alcohol based windscreen cleaner, the judder will go away.

Hi folks,

Newbie here having same problem since day one of collecting my C180 6 months ago. So far...anyone tried vinegar or silicon oil? And what's the verdict. I thought of trying with my wheel shine liquid from 3M. Also, might be changing it to Borsch Aero Twin silicon wipers.

AUTOGLYM...............remember to drain out as much as possible from the wiper tank before topping up. I think there are only 3 methods,

1) send to workshop or during servicing to drain out till empty

2) depress the wiper switch continously or intermittentlt till the water tank is empty (tis method i dont recommend, not too sure whether will it burn out yr wiper motor?)

3) use fish tank hose to drain out, this method only manage to do half tank or so.

I apply method 2) & 3)
