YOU CALL THE SALESMAN TO FIND OUT THE PROGRESS..

AND THE SALESMAN CAN HINT TO YOU THAT YOU JUST LET C&C TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING..

ALL you need to know is when to pay and when the car will be delivered. The COE they will give you when they are ready to deliver the car..

Here goes..

1st wk of sept - Paid Deposit for Car

2nd wk of Sept - COE bidding ended, I call the salesman the following monday to enquire COE got or not.. He hinted to me to be more tactful. And reason why COE was not gotten coz loan was pending approval. Will get back to me about loan approval.

3rd wk of Sept - NO NEW from him.. but finally a Invoice from C&c arrived in my letterbox telling me loan has been approved

4th wk of Sept - COE bidding ended again.. I have not called him on whether COE approved. He has never called me too..

Next week - I will sms him whether I got my COE.. hopefully.. i don't get F**K by him again suggesting that let teh C&C system do everything and they will inform me when the car is ready for delivery.

P/S : I WILL REVEAL THE SALESMAN NAME IN THIS FORUM AFTER I GET MY CAR!

BTW, I demand Service 'coz I asked for discount and He never give me any at all. I am paying FULL Price (no rebates/no freebies.).

bro, when you sign the sales agreement, dun they tell you it's guaranteed or 1-2 guaranteed COE, when the delivery date will be ?

if yes, why not leave him to do his job ? when the due date no car, very easy, just bring sales agreement to management and see what they are going to do ?

in the meanwhile, you call them every single day also no use right ? and get frustrated in the process .. why not chill out, surf the forum and web for more $$$ to throw at the car to make it a monster of a ride when you receive it ? :clap:

as for rebates and freebies, i think it's a willing buyer willing seller ... since you agreed on the TCs and sign the sales agreement, that means you are happy to part with $$$. Service from SE, whether get good or no rebates/freebies should be the same ...

but typically when a new model is launched with over-the-top demand, chances are the SEs will be busy closing sales rather than devoting more time to personal attention ... i think look at the mass market seller like Toyota Corolla ... you even had to Q up to talk to SE to get them to lock in your order !!!

At the end of the day, a SE will strive to close as many sales as possible ... a good/excellent one with do the same but strive even harder to provide that personal service knowing that further down the road, referrals and returning customer will ensure their success in this line ...

I didn't waited for the due date. When COE bidding over - I sms SE whether my COE secured or not. Had no immediare reply.

sms SE again - "pls. cancel my purchase and wanna forfeit my deposit, pls do so & tell me how much, I dun care!" :twinmfinger:

Straight way got nonsense reply "Mr. XXX, I m sorry! I m not working today - tmr I let U know" :twinmfinger:

Next day lan lan replied my COE secured :clap: KNN but from previous mth - not $20,200 Cat E but $19,628 Cat E - Not too bad also lah! ;D

I ordered my C180 from C&C on 6th Sept, got Cat A COE on 11th Sept. My SE registered on 14th Sep and got my ride on 16th Sep. I was surprised when the car ready in less than 2 weeks.

I booked my C200 on 18th Oct 2007 with a reputable PI, they got me a open cat COE, they wanted to register my car on 26th Oct but i say no cos will be out of town for 1 month plus....So wait till Dec than register.

Sad to say this, You buy from AD a C's which is one of the cheapest model that they are selling, dont expect nos 1 service.

Buy from PI, any car above 100k consider a big car from them, sure got nos 1 service. Hahaaa........

My next would still be a PI's car if i can afford another.

Depends really - I suspect those who took delivery of their E-Class last week were those who booked during the launch party...

In fact, my SE told me that some even pre-booked before the launch - that's fairly common with the "Merc boys"...

Hence your SE may not be lying but definitely fail in the EQ segment - how he became a salesman, I have no idea...hahahah

Ah Tee - I do hope mTm got Stage 4 for my ride....but stage 4 only so little horses nia arh.....hehehe!

Stage 1 mTm already bumped up to 270 horses with 390Nm torque -good enough for Unker weak heart.....scarly the 7 spd DSG also gip way....hahahaha!

More than stage 1 - has to add more moolah for the hardwares.

Going out to enjoy my ride for the 1st 5k km before bringing it in to flash.

Too bad, I went for a PI car.

Couldn't wait for the AD cos > 4 mth wait.

Wanted the showroom car but it was loaded up with some exp. options and had to top up $$$

Furthermore car was molested so badly the beige nappa leather turn yellowish and minor scratches all over the car.

Told another ride coming end Sep, but not the color we wanted, so bo pian took PI car. :-\

How I wish PA can adopt PI rides just like C&C and we can go there for service & mnt.

How I bumped up the ride will not be near enough to smell your exos lah!.....heheheh!

Having a ride in SG is already a lux for me cos I uses the car only on some weekends when I m back from Pleasure Island!
