Must I service at Carrot Carrot to maintain warranty?

To all experts, do I need to? Thought SG already roll out the regulation that we do not need to go back to AD to maintain warranty? And can I opt out from any options of Service B package at Carrot Carrot such as transmission fluid change and just stick to oil change? E.g., do not take up package option but go for ala carte? No more credits for my car. I was quoted $1.2K for a 30K Service B package when it's not even required to change transmission oil at 30K. Outside workshop is only about $400. I know there could be bits and pieces of this already being discussed in various topics but please point me to the right one if I missed it, as I cannot find with the search function. Thanks!!

My understanding is can service outside and AD still need to provide the warranty. 
I changed my car battery outside and C&C just noted on my service record as not original battery and servicing still done.
