There's a shop at Toh Guan Centre, 5th level, that has lots of used rims for all types of makes. Maybe you can check it out there if you are looking for used rims. Was there a few weeks ago and saw quite a number of Merc rims.

This is the flickr photostream for EuroAsiamotors located at Toh Guan Ctr #05-31. Proprietor's name is Darren. I believe for an extra fee, he is able to refinish the rims in other colours as well.

Bro you eyeing the Brabus monoblock rims ? hehehe. If you're after the Carlsson 1/16s let me know coz the owner logs in here occasionally. It came off a W201 so fitment wise, it shouldn't be a problem.

Just realized the Brabus Mono's he has on sale are 4 x 114.3. :( W124 takes 5 x 112, offset around 37. If you stuck to the factory size + 1" you'd be looking at 205/55/16. The ride will be fairly comfy with no detectable loss in ride quality.

Most aftermarket wheels made for the W124 will be rather heavy so your unsprung weight (basically you would need more energy to get the wheels rolling from a stationary position which in turn equates to a slightly higher fuel consumption) would actually increase significantly vs the factory spec'd wheel.

This is the reason why serious trackheads pay serious money for magnesium/forged alloy wheels which can be significantly lighter and stronger than the standard factory issue.

*bump* original thread -

anyone selling sports rims for W210 ? haha just tryin my luck.
