WRX premiums set to take another hike....

gawd that's just terrible. high speed, high impact, sliced by lamppost or hit a tree and 50/50..

Here's a link to a WRX that crashed last year on Guillemard Rd 1145pm. Also split.

Actually, if you look at it from another angle, when the car spilts at the B-pillar, it may save the lives of the occupants.

When the car loses control and hits a object; tree or lamp post, when the car spilts, it breaks the front and rear cabin cleanly. As long as seatbelts were worn, the risks of the occupants flying out is lower and the spilt will help to relieve the forces of the impact.

If it doesn't spilt, means upon impact the car has no other way to go except to wrap around the tree or lamp post. And that means being crushed.

Can't imagine if that happens.....

So although spiltting appears to look far worse for the car, it is usually safer for the occupants.... :punk1:

Just attempted to read the chinese subtitles and it says this happened along Woodlands Ave 10 ?

I've been staring at the rear seat for the last couple of minutes.

The end result looks like some nasty giant decided to tear open a can of sardines.

Like a scene from a Transformers movie?

Maybe its a "half-cut" car from Japan???

If it weren't for the severity of the accident I'd be laughing but you know I can't. Datuk damn bastard siah. :swduel:
