MOE have finally decided to suspend Aware's Sex programme.

hmm... indecisive man... before Aware saga, nothing wrong with the programme (because no one complain), after Aware saga, something wrong (because someone complains)

Anyway, Aware already teaching thousands of girls homosexual is normal, MOE, the ban is too late liao la!!!

"What offends me is that a criminal act is not being punished by the law. Homosexuals are CRIMINALS but as a society, we are gracious enough to leave them alone. The hypocrisy of our country disgusts and sickens me. So we're not allowed to publically discriminate against race or against sex even though there are a myriad of obvious differences between various peoples, but we're allowed to hand out baseless judgements against people who just happen to like people of the same sex? Homosexuals are obviously being treated as lower than base criminals in the eyes of the law. Rapists, murderers and pedophiles can marry, in stark contrast, homosexuals cannot. The obvious implication here is that gays are somehow less well equipped to take care of a family than say... men who imprison their daughters for years in a dark little cellar and father 7 children with them.

Clearly this is a question of political representation and societal power. IMO the government is currently doing the right thing by upholding status quo by not enforcing or changing law because it would severely upset some group either way. Homosexuals would be enraged if they were actively hunted down and arrested. On the other hand, Muslims, Christians and other hardline religious fanatics would start a crusade against the homo-loving government and their allies if homosexuality was legalised. However, this currently delicate balance might shift should homosexuals gain greater political representation like they have in some states in the USA, what then? Now they're suddenly OK because they're legal? Or should people start lynching them as a form of vigilante justice simply because the state will not persecute them.

The psychological profession's main stance on homosexuality is that there is no scientific evident to suggest that homosexuality is psychological, but rather, it is a biologically inherited trait that cannot be changed. Most people either do not know this or blatently refuse to accept it because of their zealous religious/cultural beliefs. This ignorance or denial also seems to extend to the fact that the world was given the proverbial shaft during the dark ages when OH HEY the Catholic Church reigned during the Dark Ages all the way through to the 17th/18th century and refused to declared any science that contradicted their foolish beliefs heretical. The best examples that come to mind are their refusals to accept that the world was round and that the Earth revolved around the sun. People were thrown in jail, tortured and excommunicated because of that. See the similarities? Obviously people don't learn from history, that's why there were 2 World Wars instead of just 1.

The bottom line is that we should just leave people who're different from us alone and respect their beliefs, and this should extend to ALL people, especially the minorities.

PS. I'm Christian, I've got nothing against other religious or my own for that matter, I simply acknowledge facts.

Er it's actually medically proven to be healthy for men. Not anal sex in particular, but repeated stimulation of the prostate gland. Take that how you will haha!
