You have good taste bud. Peach garden has one of the best Tim Sum but I don't know whether they are serving the same thing in Thomson Plaza. Usually I will have it in OCBC tower.

you should give it a try & surprisingly there is no drop in standards for Thomson Plaza outlet as compare to OCBC branch.

I will, it is alot of savings. I usually spend about $100++ for 2 pax in OCBC.

there is one Geylang till late nites. After yr action you will be hungry :).

So can anyone tell me where to get "paper chicken" aparts from Red Star which is tasteless :).

Went to HK & ate at die die must try restaurant & swear by many ppl their Tim sum is one of the best in the world. After trying, so so only.

So I ask the chio bu Lau auntie do they hv paper chicken? Her mouth wide open despite trying to explains to her. So next came the man who-know-it-all captain. He over heard my request & again I attempt to explain, end up another jaw dropper.

After that me & my kakis had big argurement about the originated of this paper chicken. We call & check with frens & relatives & even go online searching. We concluded that it is orignatied from Sillpore, in HK is alien dish.

Maybe got many bitches with peaches! Hahahahaha! No offense intended, dear female readers. :)

Anyway, let's not do so many TCSS sessions so often. There's 2 already this month! We finish with your TCSS Part 4 on 30th April first then plan Part 5! :)

But of course, if there's a few of us who are keen for dim sum this weekend, we can always arrange for that! :)

Miramar branch just open a few months only. U good!:becky: They serve sichuan dish there if I'm not wrong. I know not the mainstream Chinese food. Miramar has one more nice eating place, the jap food. Price is rather reasonable (I really wanted to use cheap ) food is very good. Buffet dinner less than $40 per pax, advance booking is required.

Red Star food sucks. Can't stand the crowd, can't stand the service, can't stand the noise and can't stand the food. Overrated food.

Geylang - Wanchai tim sum? Not bad for the price but if you had chiew mai from peach garden, anything else taste like crap to you. I like beef hor fun.

ya, the Japanese buffet there is quite solid, it is call Ikoi Japanese Restaurant, variety not a lot, but quality is good, but the Sashimi they serve is bery solid one, fresh & large amount. price wise is not wrong is $33++, quite worth it.

1) Clementi Ave 5 - Blk 345 - cheap and nice

Nearly every Sunday I am there at Blk 345 for lunch after my son classes nearby!

Most dim sum items sold out by 1 pm.

I go there more for the Sai Poh Fun - Claypot Rice - Very fragrant.

Cook just nice that U can scrap off the bottom to get to the "burnt rice" which is not "burnt black".

The soups at $2/pot is good value for money & also very tasty.

The Hey Pia Chi or Prawn fritters stall not bad and the stall selling oyster omelette & Hokkien Mee quite good too.

The fishball & bak chor mee stall also boleh!

Wa! I feel very hungry now.....hehehhe!

The zhi char stall also very pop with church goers after their Sun mass!

I would rate this Kopi Tiam one of the better ones to visit!

Oh yes! free carpark on Sunday and plenty of parking lots behind the block!

Maybe U guys should consider of La Kopi sessions there!

Went there on Sunday. Indeed it was cheap and good. Ordered 7 types of tim sum including chee chiong fun and cha siew bao. Cost me only $10.80!!!! Ta ma de! Where to find man! Good recommendation!

I like the fish ball mee stall also. Fei Siong! Always my fav! ;-)

Anyway, a coffee shop that has all things good is really hard to find.

i would recommend Taste Paradise at Ion Orchard - excellent and reasonable price. Not expensive.

I recently discovered TheCathay Restaurant at Cathay.. great dim sum at reasonable price too.
