Jade @ Fullerton hotel, weekend buffet dim sum lunch, one of the most value for money deals around, coz they serve a single serving of 4 choose 1 soup, most will attack the sharksfin one and it is very satisfying... other then this they also serve mains like noodles, non-dimsum varieties etc and the best thing is for dim sum if you have 5 pax they would serve 5 pieces (you can ask for lesser like 3 pieces instead if certain items only 3 like). Service is great too befitting the fullerton name. Make reservation pls coz the restaurant is not that big.

Nearly every Sunday I am there at Blk 345 for lunch after my son classes nearby!

Most dim sum items sold out by 1 pm.

I go there more for the Sai Poh Fun - Claypot Rice - Very fragrant.

Cook just nice that U can scrap off the bottom to get to the "burnt rice" which is not "burnt black".

The soups at $2/pot is good value for money & also very tasty.

The Hey Pia Chi or Prawn fritters stall not bad and the stall selling oyster omelette & Hokkien Mee quite good too.

The fishball & bak chor mee stall also boleh!

Wa! I feel very hungry now.....hehehhe!

The zhi char stall also very pop with church goers after their Sun mass!

I would rate this Kopi Tiam one of the better ones to visit!

Oh yes! free carpark on Sunday and plenty of parking lots behind the block!

Maybe U guys should consider of La Kopi sessions there!

if you guys dun mind tcss while makan on weekend afternoon, there is one serving good quality tim sum at Thomson Plaza, ala carte buffet style (push cart) from 3pm to 5pm, but only on weekends & PH only. price wise also not bad $20.80++ per pax.

http://www.peachgarden.com.sg/PG-Dim-Sum-Flyer-1.pdf

You have good taste bud. Peach garden has one of the best Tim Sum but I don't know whether they are serving the same thing in Thomson Plaza. Usually I will have it in OCBC tower.
