where do ya guys wash ur car?

i've always awww-ed at the nice picture painted on tv commercials where u see this happy family washing their giant suv, and having so much fun in the sun. its a pity i'm dont have the luxury of staying in a landed property allowing me to do it in the sun, i'm always couped up in the basement and thats beside the point of it being hot, sweaty, dark, damp and slippery.

theres no where to "sun" my ride nor get some good shots of it..

any idea of a country side / location with good ambience where i can park and wash my ride? an easily accessible water tap nearby would be perfect.

If you don't mind paying, you can always just wash at the SPC along dunearn road. I think it's 10 bucks for external wash.

will try it when my rims get dirty and see how good they are...

just a personal advise to all who do car wash outside... along dunearn road heading towards city, just after PML, theres one $7 car wash... first oil kiosk... dun go wash there, cuz they dont clean ur rims.. not value for $ at all...

yet to find a svc stn car wash to my satisfaction. my wheels are never that clean. always find spots missed out, best to do it yourself or go back to your car glaze co. if you have not protected your paintwork yet, now is the excuse!

Actually why don't you just bring a pail of water down from your house to wipe your own rims? I always clean my car again after sending it for car wash because well... you don't really expect a $10 car wash to be that great do you? There are always quite a few persistent stains that they miss and you just gotta clean it yourself.

i have no qualms about cleaning something i use every other day, but the problem is need to clean and clean over again, and its not easy for me & my big hands to fit into the small holes in the rims to clean out the dust... + my place doesn't allow hosing so not easy for me to jet water into the wheels...

Man this whole clean car thing only exists in Singapore. I haven't cleaned my car in Aus for like 5 months and there's absolutely no problem! It's just a car man, at most you just need to clean it once a week. My dog showers only once a week, I don't think my car needs more than that.

Haha, i think thats very true. Its a Singapore thing. But it is also because of the price of the car that makes us treasure it so much. And also, getting seen in a clean shiny car tells alot of the owner :D

FAIRWAY Country Club

Along YUAN CHING ROAD (Taman Jurong)

been with them for years.

they wash your rims & dry your rims.

car wash + "liquid wax" + vacuum + tyre shine = $12

nowadays i travel less & i have plenty of time to spare in SG, so i do my own car wash in my MSC.
