Garmin Map Pilot on Audio 20

Hi, I just took delivery of the C200 W205 from PI (UK spec). It comes with Audio 20 system w Garmin Map Pilot installed. For those with this configuration, does the voice command work? For my case, it says language not supported.

Voice command only works with the original mercs COMMAND

Should be spelled COMAND and it stands for MB

Ya, mine is the same and the voice control doesn't work either .... I had to buy the map from e-Bay as the car came with the European Map and my PI was of no help .... Cheers

Voice button on your steering wheel works only with COMAND HU!

What a pity that voice navigation didn't work. Did you guys manage to get access to Internet (on the Audio 20)? I managed to get limited access using Bluetooth Tether but didn't explore further after accepting terms and conditions from Benz. Will try again when I have the time.

Yes, I tried the internet but its' not worth the trouble.  Not sure if its' the interface or browser; simply too slow ... might as well surf right off the phone.

Actually my intention of the Internet access is to use Internet Radio. Anyone succeeded?

I tried that as well, limited stations and also slow ......

Tried Internet Radio today. Speed not too bad. Stations quite a lot too. Only issue is poor sound quality due to the low bit rate.

WK C200, mine is PI too and intend to buy the SEA map from eBay. Is it difficult to install? I notice it is V3.5 dated 2015, will the map updated. And how to update?

Hi, does your PI car come with the European map?  If yes, and when you insert the sd card, it'll shows up the Garmin interface but a blank map that kind of tells you your car has the hardware (GPS antenna, etc) if not, you should ask some shops to check before buying the map... Once you get the map, just insert in and it'll work.  The seller for me from Europe was very professional, ask me for my car VIN then sold me the correct version.  Hope this helped.

Hi, thanks for the advice. Yes, my car comes with the European map. Can you tell me who the seller is or provide the link for me? I am checking with a seller in eBay "surplus.parts" and he claimed that he has the V5 version of Southeast Asia map (currently is the V3.5 2015 version listed for w205). He did not ask for my VIN though. How much did you pay for your map and was it difficult to update the map? Appreciate your time to advise me on this.

Hi, cannot remember who the seller was. He say for my car should use the v3.0. I did not try updating the map. Just use and even drove to Genting with it... works fine so far.  I paid about S$250 Including fedex to me within 3 days.  How much is your seller asking for?

He is asking for about S$260 with shipping. Not many sellers on eBay for the SEA map. I am just concerned that the V3 map may be outdated for my Wife who will be driving most of the time. I cannot find the V5 which he claimed the latest and waiting for his update on it.

So far so good for me.. you may try updating it after using it for a couple of weeks if you think its' outdated .. I think it has a 1 month grace.  Cheers
