Replacement Windscreen W212

Hi all, I got a crack on my windscreen and would like to get it replaced. I have done so for the other cars that I owned.

For Mercedes, do u just go to the insurer appointed agent or do we do CnC? Do they use the original stuff? Mine has solar film and I want the same to be back on.

Any advice will be useful. Thanks. My insurer is AIG.

go to AIG authorized workshop.. Glass-Fix at Ubi.

I done 3 times once for previous W203 and twice on current W212.

CnC Pandan did it for me.

$100 plus 7% GST as per my AIG insurance.

I did special arrangements for a 1 day job or else it will take 2 to 3 days for the expoxy to cure.

They includes the original Huber Optic solar film too.

Just called AIG, they say CnC buay sai leh. Only glass fix. Have to pay extra for Solar film.

My car insurance with AIG allows me to go back to CnC for insurance claims.

Huber Optic is the solar film done by CnC.

Definitely huper optik cause I had my rear film changed under warranty for 10 years. I call AIG again tomorrow

My advice don't call AIG

The guy over the other end might not even know the procedure.

For my past windscreen claims I did'nt  contact AIG!

I just walked in to CnC Pandan and the Service Advisor will take over from there with AIG. (less than 10 mins)

I guess CnC have been doing windscreen claims pretty frequently.

I also confirmed with the SA to include the Huber Optic at no extra charges.

For a 1 day job, I've to pre-arrange a date to send the car in and also to sign an waiver on the possible leakage if the windscreen epoxy leaks due to inadequate time for curing.

My premium has not been increased due to the claims.

Matter of fact, it was reduced about last renewal cos I kpkb to the underwriter.
