Over 1 year plus i have been with MBM for servicing and i can say their Customer Service is good and let you feel you are servicing your car in a premium workshop. I have paid roughly 17K spend  so far on change of parts and general servicng + Major servicing. Although i paid so much, I trusted them as the cars they repairs mainly conti and high premium cars and well received comment about their job done and also being one of the site sponsor.

Sad to say, recently one of my HID lamp went out, i check back the last change on my head lamp is just 1 year 3 months ago at MBM and i paid $440 for both lamp plus labour. Inside the invoice also didn't state what brand is the lamp that is installed. As I'm not a Pro in Cars, i leave it to the professionals to do the change. I paid so much already and things still get spoilt easily and to my surprise when i went to another workshop to install Philip D1S 6K, i was told that the exisiting lamps on my car has no brands at all and surprisingly the serial no. Is the same on both lamp. Supposing each lamp should have their own serial no. I'm paying slightly lesser for Philip D1S 6K but it is a well recommended brand for headlamps and with 3 year warranty from online research. So is my exisiting lamp Geninue or not? I was told i'm lucky it didnt damage my ballast. (Attached the old D1S Lamp for reference)

In the past repair or servicing in C&C, used replaced equipment will be return back to you for reference. Even used brake pad change or windscreen wiper also will be return to owner. But outside workshop most of the time don't which i'm fine as long equipment is working fine. But invoice should state clearly the equipment changed is from MB Orignial or OEM or any other brand at least there a reference.

I believe most of us enjoy our ride and also paid a premium for the safety that is built in our cars. But with a brand less equipments install into our car without us knowing my question is the money i paid is it worth it? Will that equipment cause any further damage to the car which then need to continue service and service? But most impt, my family safety while driving.

I have to say i will service with other reputable workshop from now on. Thanks and no thanks.
