I received CnC invitation to sign-up for MBDE 2016.

Is a half day event. May I ask if anyone done this before? Worth going?

Cheers.

Yes, go for it. It is a fun event. I've attended one in Sepang track. Driving the C63s is such an exhilarating experience! Don't pay for it if you can. Mine was sponsored by C&C.

I suppose one gets invited to an event like this?

If my car isn't here yet, they won't send such a letter?

Thanks

You can still email C&C, event is open to the public. It's not an exclusive invite only event.

What was the main disappointing difference for you?

Firstly, the location is not ideal for this kind of exercise. Previous location at Changi Air Exhibition was 10x bigger, the cars can be pushed to higher speeds of 70-80km/h for more realistic emergency braking & maneuvers. 2nd, it used to be the whole day event..... from 9am -5pm, more stations to cover & the highlight was the timed slalom test of the all the combined stations that became a  test circuit. Lastly, the taxi ride with the chief instructor Peter Hackett in a AMG was more fun....with drifting & 'donuts' all thrown in.
