Workmanship on Solar Firm Huper Optik by CnC

Need your valuable opinion. 

 

Its been ard a month of driving a W246. Lately I realised that the solar firm on three of the four windows panes has small bubbles appearing. For one, its like as if it is peeling off at the edge. Especially at the edges around the window.  This is visible on from the outside but it is blocked from view from within the vehicle due to the rubber insulation. Out of curiosity, i did a closer inspection around the vehicle by lowering all the windows half way and observed yet another short coming. The solar firm on the windows were unevenly applied. Some were applied right to the edge of the window and for some others, there was this 5mm - 8 mm gap between the edge of the window pane to the solar firm.

 

So i am wondering if you guys would just leave it be or raise it as an issue to the SE? Not sure if it would make it sound like I am petty to raise such issues or is this a real concern. Obviously, it has not bearings on safety concerns but this being a new car.. it just leave behind a "bitter taste" (if you know what i mean).

 

Would love to hear from you bros on your opinion on this matter. Much much appreciate your time.

Try make an appointment w cnc to verify the condition and request to redo if below normal quality.

I was told we can go down to huper optic directly as they provide warranty. I saw a few bubbles too. But never check the side windows. Been lazy to go over. Haha

Can we go down direct to Huper Optik? I also have some poor workmanship on the film. Can someone verify this?

i was told by my SE that you can get this defects replace FOC within 10 years due to warranty

maybe I suggest you give your SE a call and ask him/her to send it in for you to do it.

Yes. 10 years warranty. I would suggest we bring it in on our own. Otherwise the down time may be longer since its a outsourced project. Seems like workmanship is really bad.

i intstruct my SE not to install window tint for my ride. After collected my new ride will immediately head down to Infratint our site sponsor install the window film. Their service is top notch so is their workmanship and most importantly the film able to reduce heat. Dont take my words for it, try them u will know .
