Locally fitted reverse camera by C&C

Just got my car few days back from C&C. It came with a locally fitted reverse camera. I found markers on the screen always show a bigger gap on the right but actually the car is centered in the parking lot. Check with the salesperson and she told me the local fitter says it is normal. Is this correct?

My experience with locally fitted reverse camera is that the guidelines are totally useless.

 

Use wing mirrors to guide you into the lot.

You can DIY but it's much better to get a professional to do it for you.

My 2015 A180 only have auto-parallel park 

but that alone is quite fun

Both reverse and parallel parking. 

 

I think for reverse parking, the lot must be sandwich between 2 cars. Else the car might try to parallel park as it senses a bigger space.

auto parking assist cannot detect low kerbs.. my tyre kenna before although no real damage, After that I don't dare to use that function anymore.
