Need advise. New pfl w204 owner

Just bought a pfl w204 last week. Mileage around 150k. Theres a few observation around the car which id like to seek advise on.

1) theres like a soft 'helicopter' sound (quick chugging sound) when accelerating from stop. I believe it comes from somewhere from the rear end.

2) rpm not steady when idling with aircon off.

3) my right headlight top strip did not off when i turn off the main head light switch. Need to on and off again for it to go away.

Are these common issues encountered? Any quick fix? Or cause for concern before it gets worst?

Also recommended servicing to be done at this mileage.

Point 3- The top stripe you referring, I believed should be the Parking Light.  For MB car, you do not on/off your headlight manually. Is always at Auto.

When you turn anti-clockwise once, the headlight will goes off and your right parking light will light up.  If you turn twice, the left parking light will turn on.

Hi,

To be exact, W204 has total 3 mounts, engine x2 (L+R), & transmission mount x1.

I think I paid ~ S$30 for the transmission mount from local stockist & installed at my regular workshop ~ $30~40 /mount labour.

For the engine mounts it cost ~ $120 ea if u get from stockist ... I have not changed the engine mounts yet (only done up the trans mount), due to busy work schedule, but something I want to do next..

Thanks for the inputs! Can i get the name of the stockist too? Thanks!

Hi,

I went to below stockist, as it is nearby my office .. Pls bring along the car VIN information, as he can check the part compatibility for u.

Usually I will buy OE Lemfoerder brand, it is value for money (& made in germany)
