Not to disable, but anyone switch it off when driving? I can easily switch it off after i start my car but just wantto find out the effect of it

No effects.

I switch it off all the time too. Aircon is very important...

I may be wrong but there is effect but only if you are driving on highway with no jam as I can see a sailboat logo in place of the comfort if I dun step on acceleration or brake. For start stop traffic other than the short engine stop start feature which is not much of a help, dun have much use.

Depends on the traffic stop condition.

U may save some fuel if there is a lot of waiting time.

For DCT gearboxes, ECO mode has an additional advantage of saving your clutch linings. When the engine is running but you're stopped in D the car is always in half-clutch mode.

i notice when sailboat sign is on, the rpm is lower then when sail boat is not on when you did not step on the accelerator.
