Hi,

Did u use the auto light on feature? previously I had this problem, but since I disable the auto light-on function... the problem gone...

Personally, I suspect with auto light on features, when u start the car ... especially if car is in basement dim carpark , the light will switch on before u crank the engine .. it will cause voltage surge on bulb .. T10 bulb is less margin than other 1156 bulb .. but that is only my engineering speculation ... if that is true... it's a very bad design ..

Another possibility is, the wiring insulator inside headlamp starts disintegrating ... & may have bad contact  or intermittent short ..

Try disable the autolight first & monitor ..

IMHO, I don't think it has anything to do with the Auto light function. In some of my previous ride, the auto light was always used as I tend to forget to switch on headlights. It has never caused any issue with bulb. I am also on auto light for my w204 and so far no issue *touch wood*.
