Panel showing 3rd brake light faulty

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I need some advice from all of you.  Recently, I noted that there is a message on my panel indicating that my 3rd brake light is faulty.  However, I have a checked and observed that it was in fact working.  I then went down to the workshop and asked for advice.  The person in the workshop explained to me that it could be a malfunction of the control that regulate all the lighting and he also mentioned to me that it would cost me more than 1K to get it fix.  I am now living with this message as  I am not sure whether is it worthwhile to get it fix.  Can anyone advise whether is there any cheaper option to get it fix or is there any other reason for the message to appear on the panel even through the lighting is working fine?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Cheers and have a nice day.

Toffee
