Suitable rims color for S-class

I'll go with the full black. Especially if your car is white or black.

Curious, didn't consider the CLS if you feel the S Class is "ah peh"?

My car is black and black interior. CLS behind 2 seaters. I need to ferry around so CLS was not an option.

I think I am 70% decided to take 2 tone, black with silver lining. Getting my staff to do superimpose image.

That's why opinions on design and looks are very subjective. If you've made up your mind, just go for it. It's your money, do whatever makes you happy.

Seems to be made for the Chinese market where huge taxes on gas emissions are imposed.

Hi All

excited to collect my new S320 in 3 weeks time.

Need some advice what rim would be nice so that it wont look so Ah peh.

Thanks

For S class i think most suitable should be 2nd design.

First design looks very fierce. Nice.

Choice between suitable or fierce look.

Hi All thanks for the feedback.

I have ordered the 2 tone silver and glossy black inside.

Yes its S320.

If you look at the history of merc badging the engine,

S300, S320, S350 and S400 is same 3 litre engine.

They badge different size according to the the power rating.

The S320 I book is same engine as S400 but lower power.

I heard from BMW PML Sales that S400 is having engine issue, this could be the reason they tone down the power.

Reason I bought S320 is price. it is $40-60K cheaper than S400 and the option seem slight better than S400.

Another reason is my aging BMW 730Li.

This is my second merc, used to drive 2005 model C class, sold it before hit 3 years as C&C cannot solve the aircon issue.

Hope less problem with newer merc.

Great to see you back Bro Sugi

Thanks Bro.

It has been 2 BMW since my last C180 2005.

BTW I want to take out the pointed star at the bonnet and change it to the flat logo.

Where can I get them?

  • 1 month later...

collected the car and change my rims.

Love the look.

Fuel consumption was disappointing.

Much worse than my 730Li.

The S320 was giving 14.5-15L/100km

My 730Li can do 12.5l/100km

low quality wiper rubber

and knocking sound under the carpet when the car stationary.

Need to send back for a check.

Was wondering my start and stop only last for 60 seconds.

is this normal for Merc? was expecting slightly longer period for the engine stop
