Has anyone tried "enabling" the reverse camera feature in our command unit so that we can simply install the reverse camera and make use of our existing display monitor?

Dun bother, it will cost an arm & leg just to get the Composite to MOST bus interface...

ya... also bought the reverse camera & went to a lot of installer to check if can connect to my built in monitor but they say cannot... so sad......

if i am not wrong the monitor is next to the rear view mirror on the driver's side. i know the monitor is there for the E230 but for the E200, some cars do not have, but some do...

Mine was a factory add-on. Installed after delivery of the car due to no stock. right of the rear view mirror. thats probably the only monitor for reverse camera?

from wat i understand, the reverse camera monitor tat is located at the top right hand of the reverse mirror, is fitted locally from c&c. eventhough if u have the gps command system, the reverse camera cannot connect to the built-in monitor. dont have the extra cable to connect them.

bro. i have installed the after market reverse cam and 2.5" TFT LCD monitor onto my new E Class. i imported many sets for friends and a few merz members got it from me. not that difficult to install the cam and monitor as they tap the wire from the reverse light and not the dashboard. u can call me at 96678989 if u want more info, cheers allen

I got the C&C local fitted reverse camera (request free when book the car)... very useful because you can see the rear blind spot area. I think it is a night-enable camera... can see very bright view even at night and dark places.
