W204 Avantgarde vs non Avantgarde

Hi, tried to do a search but couldn't find anything conclusive.

Looking at a 2010 W204 C200 CGI, basically narrowed down to 2 options.

These are the 2 cars.

Basically, apart from slight rim differences, i cant find a difference. The non avantgarde version has the ESP off button below the hazard light while the advantgarde version doesn't.

Could anyone enlighten me on the other differences? Thanks in advance!

Both Are advantgarde version

W204 comes in Four trim

Classic/ basis: usually used for cabs/taxi. In the UK, is call the SE version

Elegance: More traditional Merc flair, merc standing star and classic grill. Wood grain trim and plenty of chrome work

Advantgarde: Sporty version with big star grill/ titanium trim, enhanced suspension for better driving performance

AMG sport version: same as Advantgarde but with AMG goodies, steering/ brakes/ rims/ bodykit

Hi, thanks for your help.

Weirdly, the supposedly avantgarde version does come with an avantgarde badge below the AC controls, while the other one doesn't. In addition, the avantgarde version seems to lose the "ESP off" button below the hazard lights. Does anyone know if there was a promo at this point of time, where C&C threw in everything for the non avantgarde version as well in terms of accessories?

Both cars are on the same Avantgarde trim. The previous owner could have debadged the Avantgarde logo, some people don't like having badges all over. As for the ESP button, don't think it makes any difference. For daily city driving, you'll probably never ever turn the ESP system of for the entire duration you own the car. In the rare event when you need to turn it of, you can access the function from the system menu in the center instrumental cluster.
