Universal HUD plugged into OBD2 port issues

Hi,

 

I'm wondering if anyone have a solution or encounter the same issues. I bought a universal HUD and plugged into the OBD2 port of my C200 W205. But when engine switch off, the HUD doesn't. So if I leave it on for the whole night, next day car cannot start up, battery low.

 

But when I try the device on my other friend car (which is not a merc), after engine switch off, the HUD switches off too. Any solution?
