C180 confusions

Good day guys,

Am looking for a used c180 cgi 1.6 or 1.8 mated with 7G tronics. Can anyone advise which will be a better buy since both hp are the same?

Also, was the 1.6/1.8 cgi 7g tronics introduced in 2010 or 2011?

I am confused becos i saw in sgcarmart there are some 2010 to 2012 c180 cgi 1.6/1.8 with 5AT.

Pls kindly enlightened me.

Facelift C180 started in 2011

Initially labelled as C180 Komp with 5at

then 2012 came the C180 with CGI engine but labelled 7g-Tronic to signifies the use of 7 speed gearbox

Facelift C180 should be 1.6 variant

 

2010 will be prefacelift model

those will be 1.8 litre

w204 7 g gearbox was never fitted to the 180 range for pre facelift

it was seen in higher capacity like the C280/ C300/ C350

 

the 7 speed CGI 1.6 only in 2012 onwards (Facelift)

The 1.8 cgi With 7 speed will be C200 CGI ( facelift) sharing the same engine as the E200 CGI: Hp 180+

should be same as the year FL version

not popular as it is quite pricey compare to the 180

 

PI brought in some C200 and it was priced about the same as C and C 180 Then

Yes, mine is the sedan version of your car. A C180 registered in May 2012, 1.8L turbo CGI engine with 7G Tronic gearbox.

 

It's more like a de-tuned version of C200.

 

At the time I bought the car, the 1.6L C180 has non-CGI supercharged engine and 5 speed gearbox. 

 

The 1.6L turbo charged CGI with 7G Tronic gearbox came a year after that if I remember correctly.

I'm shopping around for a c180,happened to test drive this.

Dealer claims this is 06/2011 with 1.6T and 7G-T. Very noisy when accelerating, is this normal?
