Child Safety Lock (W205)

I realise it is very easy to open the rear passenger doors, although on the driver side control, I put as locked

but due to the design of the system (maybe for easy escape in the case on serious accidents)

the rear passenger can still just open the door unless I put down the safety latch on the side of the door permanently

I found that BM has a better system, you need to pull the door handle from the inside twice, but MERC just one time enough

so dangerous imagine your child suddenly pull the door handle while driving

Any idea how to avoid this issue?

Still searching for a better solution rather than permanently disabling the opening of the rear doors from inside...

Any one can advice please....

Yes, I want to know too.

My current solution is putting child lock on for both the rear. But that's very inconvenient. When the kids have to alight, someone always have to phyiscally open the doors. Especially when it rains, its very troublesome.

exactly, same here lor, very inconvenient

under what circumstances would you need to open the child side without an adult sitting with the kid or an adult waiting outside the door on the kid side?

I don't understand the problem....

My cars are always child locked permanently on the kid side) and I never have a problem
