this message appears while I was waiting to clear customs back to Singapore from Malaysia yesterday. I pressed "OK" to clear away the message.

After reaching Singapore, parked and checked.. all brake lights and taillights are lighted up.. including the center brake light..

anyone encounter before? Anything wrong?

Hi

I am facing this problem now. Rear right lamp/brake light including the signal light message appeared this morning when I was signaling right.

Went down to Autobac to check and it was verified that a wire was seen burnt and the electronic board (holding all the bulbs) has a burnt mark as well.

Was quoted 200+ to change the whole board & wire!!!!! :(

The mechanic inform that this is a very common issue for C180 and it is always on the rear right side.

When I check, all brake light and signal lights are working properly.

Anybody has any lobang for a cheaper solution to this??

Thanks

Go to Goldenlink to buy the light housing....very cheap (can't remember the cost) & can easily DIY. I believe the wire connector pins need to change too....(also very cheap).
