Replace whole wiper or just the rubber

Hi all, just to check some question.  Hope peers here can help.

 

1.  Do your replace the whole wiper or just the rubber strip? 

2.  How do you tell if its rubber replaceable type of wiper or not?

3.  How to remove the rubber strip if its replaceable?  The cap at the end of the wiper don't seem to be able to come off.

The rubber strip can't be replaced for all current Merc models....PERIOD! 

Change it when there are streaks appearing after each swipe on the windscreen.
