Hate idiots like them. If hes your neighbour. Confronting him may make things nasty. What make he's driving? Mercedes very hardy. Should show him how durable your car is. Then see who has more dents!

It's at the car park near my office. Merc paintwork is sturdy.

Does not matter wat his car make, it's the way he park and hit other car doors when opening his door...

When I see such drivers in my blk ( those who park like morons)... I normally park my lorry beside them... making damn sure they cannot open their door... sometimes making sure they couldn't even go to their door....

I was in the same situation as you previously with my last ride.

It was a X5. In car video capture the vehicle and the bang sound. But in car video didn't capture the process at all.

i feel the same way guys. I get dents too and collect them and do PDR once every two years :(

Most of the dents are in public car park lots. My own private lot is ok, they are nice people and nice folks and they behave well.

In public lots i try to park next to a wall or pillar to minimise such risk.

But all i can say is its part and parcel of car ownership.  Our parking lots are also very tightly squeezed.

Hi Darksaint,

What kind of DVR are you using?
Was it captured when your vehicle power is off?

My vehicle was just scratch by some idiot when I was not around.
I spoke to my SE and was told that the DVR does not record when the car is not switched on ... sigh ... less than 1 month and this shit happened ...

I'm using itronics and tap direct to car battery for park mode recording.

U can get dvr w bulit in battery cut off or those w power pack to prevent battery over drain.

Can understand the heartache. :(
